    Post MLB midway

So, it's almost the Midway point of the baseball season, or as some like to call it "Almost football time". How's your team doing so far? Do you see them going far? Did anyone make the all star ballot?

As I post this Soriano drops a routine fly ball and Puljos scores on the play 7-3 St. Louis beating the Cubs *drops head*

    Go Cubbies!?

I enjoyed that game a ton and I also enjoy being in first place. I'm a huge Cardinals fan!

Huge Jays fan here. We came out smoking at the start of it and now...I just don't wanna talk about it lol.

I've never seen a team with so many injuries to their rotation/pen.
Roy Halladay - Missed 3 starts due to a strained groin
Dustin McGowan - Tore his labrum last year. He was a bright young arm and now his career is possibly over before it could really begin.
Shaun Marcum - Tommy John last season. Just started pitching in single A as a rehab assignment.
Jesse Litsch - Pitched 2-3 starts but went down to Tommy John
Ricky Romero - Missed 3-4 starts with a strained oblique
BJ Ryan - Sucked after getting Tommy John 2 years ago and now got released
Jesse Carlsson - Was amazing last year but is a total shitballer this year
Scott Downs - Our new closer who also missed 20 days or so after spraining his toe in interleague play

We've had 11-12 rookies pitch for us this year and a mid/long relief turned starter. It's actually kind of amazing that we are still .500 after all that.

Our 2 biggest bats (on paper) totally sucks ass. Vernon Wells is a infield pop-up machine and Alex Rios' swing is just all over the place though it's gotten better as of late. On top of that, there's all these rumours about Doc being traded (though it's not true, it still pisses me off). There really hasn't really been much for me to cheer about lately.

Now I'm just counting the days until hockey starts.
