Kind of a random thought, I know, but there are a lot out there, and I really don't feel like making a poll w/only a few choices. So from the likes of Jason, Michael Myers, Hannible Lector, Dracula, Frankinstine, ect... who is your favorite horror movie icon?

For my money i'd go w/Freddy Kruger from the "nightmare on elm street" series, especially the from the first movie and "wes craven's new nightmare" he was so damn evil and sinister then...

Damien was a good character too, I think cuzza the fact that he was so young... and yet so very evil.

There are a lot of Draculas... but I like the one from Van Helsing the best, I think... maybe the Oldman version too...

This is a hard one, cuz there are so many, and they are hard to put together to isolate. They are good for different reasons.

The Tall Man from the Phantasm movies, those are always my favorite.

I also like Ash (Bruce Campbell) from the Evil Dead movies.

Outside of that I dunno, I like all the other cult guys pretty equally, except for I don't get the Hellraiser movies but I thought Pinhead was cool

When I was a kid, it was Jason, hands down. Nowadays, I'm not really into the slasher-flick scene; I'm more of an artsy-horror fan. Nix from Clive Barker's Lord of Illusions is pretty damn freaky... Daniel Robitaille ("Candyman") from Candyman is pretty damn freaky... of course the Cenobites from Hellraiser are pretty damn freaky... can you tell I'm a Clive Barker fan???
