    That's not a particularly well-reasoned viewpoint.

I heard a referee stumble three different times trying to say "After further review, the call on the field has been confirmed," during the Oklahoma State / Texas A&M game, and Brent Musberger mispronounced Michigan's quarterback's last name at least half a dozen times during ABC's broadcast of that game.

Clearly men also shouldn't be allowed to be "announcers, commentators, whatever."

You have reached the end of my post.

Referees don't usually have degrees that train them to be a public speaker or be on television in the first place. I'm pretty sure erin andrews went to Florida for telecommunications.

#2 Brent Musberger is old and has earned his time at the desk and ffs I can't pronounce Forcier

Noo not really different. Lou Holtz mispronounces names constantly... commentator called Brandon Minor for Michigan, Steven Minor. Baseball commentators constantly mispronounce Scott Podsednik's name, looking at the yankee's vs Twins they keep calling Nick Punto, Nick PUTO.. lol which is grossly incorrect... Aramis Ramirez isn't difficult but constantly screwed up... and it's pronounced... "FOR SEE AYE" Mark May does it often... as well as Colin Cowherd. Mixups sometimes happen male/female... lol not sure the sex matters.

Either or I enjoy hearing female commentators as well as the males... I just wish they'd get rid of the Coaches in the booth commentating... that's less than pleasant.

My vote is for Bob Costas. He seems like a natural sex machine.

I think the main thing for me is the guys all have deeper voices that I can tune out to watch a game. the women all have high pitched squeels that I can't ignore. plain and simple I just prefer guy sports announcers and all that.
if you feel different good for you.
