Seriously, have fun being out of business in a year.

The assholes claimed i never returned 2 games and charged my bank card $117!!!! And when i call them up they tell me there is nothing they can do about it... I know for a fact that I returned them, when I was walking back to my car from returning them I witnessed a car accident and had to call 911...

Prepare have a chargeback blockbuster...

They should have a drop box with a scanner that instantly gives you a receipt saying you returned stuff. Back when I rented movies from them all the time, I took my returns back in store & made sure they scanned them back in while I was there. It was a pain but I never got any bogus charges.

PS... Have you tried Gamefly.com for renting them instead?

I used to rent movies a long time ago from them people. But it seems they always hired a bunch of fucktards who didn't know there ass from a hole in the ground. So... I stopped doing business with them.

not typically, i was bored and wanted to play a new game so i went there and rented them. It's pretty rare that I do that too. But this will be my last visit there. I already have netflix... im kinda thinking about a gamefly supscription now too...

my room mate has gamefly and i must say it's much better than blockbuster... then again almost anything is -- i think the concept of blockbuster is soooooooooo 90's

I was listening to a financial channel while at work last week and they were talking about a possible merger that would have Directv partnering with some movie production company to release their films directly to on-demand in the future as soon as they are released, rather than waiting until they are done playing in movie theaters. The theaters and rental stores won't be happy, but its about damn time something like that happens. If I could buy the newest movies right on my tv, I wouldn't have to pirate them.

Stealing is stealing man.

And I still use Blockbuster. I only had an issue with them once...when DVDs started to be more main stream...a lot of theirs would be scratched to hell, but that was a decade ago.

I actually like the whole going out and renting a movie thing. of course we have a hastings and it had an old horror section I spend alot of time browsing through. it also has a good comic selection and a section of toys and games musical instruments I take off the wall and piss off employees with a-la wayne's world "May I Help You Riff" style

$117 geeeeeeeeez! Ive never rented anything from Blockbuster before (mainly because the nearest one is like 2 or 3 hours away) but I Totally wont Rent anything from them now after hearing this! Thats just WILD! =)

I was thinking... once I got charged a late fee and I proved I didn't owe it because the copy of the video I rented was on their shelf.. I doubt that would help if it's a game since they are usually gone at any given time, but just an idea

that sucks about what happened to you with Blockbuster. In Georgia, they have these movie rental machines called, Redbox, where you can rent a movie for $1 a day, which is a lot better than going to Blockbuster. You guys might have them too in your areas.

I saw a rental box at a gas station on the way home from the football game the other day that said you don't have to return it.

it said all you have to do is crack the seal on the paper case and you have three days to watch the dvd before the disk is erased

Remember when Blockbuster had those music stores?

Redbox is awesome, except that they don't have Blu-Ray discs.
