Well, lets say MOST women. I am around them way too much and here is my take on it. Most will have sex with a guy for one of three "M" reasons:

1) Money-No explanation needed.
2) Muscle-As in good looking guys.
3) Music-Musicians, actors or the type.

If you are not in one of those three categories, good luck. Most girls usually wake up in their late 20s/early 30s and realize there are more to relationships than superficial things. However, usually its too little too late. No one wants a Lexus with 250k miles on it. Thoughts?

I think you're missing what I said Mr E. While I agree that there are plenty of women that are into looks, money and a good body... the exact same thing can be said for guy can't it?

As for the humor thing, that is true but of course what the guy looks like comes into play. That's nature though, we all look for an attractive mate.

Implying most women want hot guys with bank accounts and decent bodies isn't wrong in the least. I agree with you fully in fact, I just know the exact same can be said of guys, except we're not as picky. We'd take a female with a jelly donut, a six pack of beer and an xbox live account.

I agree with everything you said. The difference is, you hear women EVERY day bitching about how there are no good men left or all the good ones are gay etc....men dont do that, they get what they can get. Fact is, there are PLENTY of good men around, they just may dont fall into those 3 categories I mentioned and most young girls are too stupid to look past superficial things. Yeah, I do agree a lot of that is true for sure. Most guys will fuck anything. Check out last call next time you're at the bar, you'll see a lot of guys with very, very unattractive girls. We're not picky.

Sure, we all want the hot girl but how many guys manage to muster up the courage to talk to the hot girl, let alone close the deal? What's funny is that hot girls are much, much easier to date than the average girls. Weird how that works. Most guys talk themselves out of the game long before they go talk to the girl. That or they talk to the girl, they can't close the deal because the girl just isn't into them... so then that makes the girl a bitch, or a slut, or something equally as manly so they can feel better about their masculinity. I don't fall into that category thankfully.I am very very picky, even when it is just to get laid. I can honestly say I have never woken up next to a woman I haven't wanted a few repeat peformances with.

I drive a beat up old car. I don't consider myself good looking but I have never had a problem getting laid. I have some money, a decent body and I play the guitar, but seriously I don't advertise that when I'm out to pick up. I wear baggy clothes, catch a cab into town and I don't play in a band. I personally think it is more of a confidence factor than anything. I have no dramas talking to any girl anywhere and I guess that helps.

The Nerds get laid more than any of them. You just don't hear about it cause they only discuss it during WoW.

I'm not sure what point you're making here? Hot girls tend to be with reasonably attractive guys (and vice versa) almost all of the time, obviously.

As for the humor thing, that is true but of course what the guy looks like comes into play. That's nature though, we all look for an attractive mate.

I think everyone (especially E) is missing the point that sense of humor comes into play more when a woman is looking for a relationship than when she is just trying to hook up. Hook-ups are purely physical moments; why would personality figure in at all?

However, it should also be said that sense of humor is tied in directly with self-confidence. The more confident you are, the more likely you are to be able to laugh at yourself for any potential screw-ups, and the funnier your jokes and more easygoing your personality will appear. It's not a quality that would make women want to fuck you; it's just a quality that would make them more "at ease" with you.

I find this to be false more often than it is true. Most of the guys I've known are very picky about looks, and they're pretty average guys themselves. Again, in my experience, the exact opposite is almost always true. I am a pretty average-looking guy with an average-paying job. Most of the hot girls who I have been friends with are constantly being hit on, and they complain about it. These same women have always told me I am "a really great guy". Most of the time, if I try to talk to a really beautiful woman that I don't know (whether I'm making it obvious that I'm "hitting on" her or not), I get some sort of derisive response designed to make me feel like a douche -- this is why I tend to equate physical attractiveness with rudeness, and usually gravitate more toward the average-looking women. (I blame the Paris Hiltons and Tila Tequilas of the world for encouraging this sort of "stuckup-bitch" behavior.) In this case, it really IS their fault, not mine, that I'm not talking to them, but this is probably the response they're going for.

Long story short, I find that the guys who don't talk to the hotter women are either in my group, or are simply lacking in self-confidence or social graces to begin with.
