Brook Park truck driver charged with killing motorist while watching porn on laptop

BUFFALO, N.Y. -- A 45-year-old Brook Park truck driver who police said was watching porn on his laptop computer when his truck crashed into a stalled car on a New York highway Dec. 12, was charged Wednesday with second-degree manslaughter.

New York State Police said Thomas Wallace killed 33-year-old Julie Stratton, of Snyder, N.Y., while he drove a rig on the state thruway near Buffalo.

Before Stratton was hit, she had called 9-1-1 because she had hit a deer.

New York State Police Sgt. Thomas Burney said Wallace was watching porn on a laptop computer and did not follow transportation laws by sleeping at least 10 hours in a 24-hour period.

He is currently being held in Genesee County Jail on $50,000 bond.

haha i think Chris would at least pull over to watch porn to be honest, but its horrible to hear that a woman was killed because of a driver watching porn, I swear the things you hear these days.
