Found out earlier this week that I'm losing my job at the end of the day tomorrow. Not really happy about it but it's probably for the best (my company has been HORRIBLE with its financial management over the last couple years and this is basically a direct result of that). Probably the worst thing about it is that depending on my own financial situation I may have to cancel my site membership, which means that you all won't have my charming personality and rapier wit in the chat room.

Anybody else had bad news recently?

I haven't personally had any bad news come my way, other than I got promoted so now I have to run the store alone a couple nights a week, I'm kinda freaked out about it, I might get stabbed again.

I am also on the verge of losing the airport and one church I work with. the airport was a HUGEEEEE mistake we've been there for like 4 months and I've been doing security paperwork for all of my employees full time since we got the place.
the church. well I hired a shitty employee who happened to be family and I trusted as stupid as it was, and they don't like him

Naw, I'm just lucky for that kinda thing. In the didnt hurt myself in the process. I ended up with a wicked assault charge though. Lol

And i second the wanting a job doug, i already have a DSLR. If you need someone in Ontario that is.

honestly getting laid off does suck but every time anyone i know gets laid off they find something better out there and i hope the same goes for you sir!!
