    Default She lives!

Got the heads rebuilt, last year, and put them back on over the week, and she's back to life!

If you don't care for car stuff, you probably won't like. I'm just too happy about it not to share!

    Questions, comments?

Sounds sweet! Especially for 182,000 miles. What kind of car is it?

Passenger side need a little TLC though

95 Mazda MX6 LS, with plenty of work done to it, so it's not really at 182,000 miles. This is it's third engine (get them from an importer for about 900$). The whole car needs some TLC lol. I pulled out the insides about a year and a half ago cause it was in bad shape. I plan to get it repainted one day, and new interior as well, but I'll leave it mostly stripped down until I've done all the mods I want done to it. I'm mostly "all go and no show" too.

My friends had a 90's Mazda 6 that had air vents that moved back and forth, I thought yours might have them too.

MX6 and the 6 are two different cars. All good though, the 6 is a nice ride, if ya get the Mazdaspeed version.

    It's a Ferrari...wanna go for a ride? hehehe

Nah, it's a cute lil'Mazda MX6. The plan right now is to get her back on the road cause I miss her. Future plan is to boost it and break transaxles every other week.

I've got some big honkin rods and nice wiseco pistons, a block that's been bored out and honed, and the forged crank has been balanced to the new rod/pistions. 10:1 compression on boost is bonerrffic (9lbs boost >= 300hp for this engine). I've also got my eye out on either some Colt Cams or the Electromotive Tec3r...both are $$$ and I'm a penny pincher.

It all has to do with potential (Ford Probe has the same Mazda engine):

    Lol Val!

It's a shame the oil pump went out after the first test drive. I've got another one but it's a bitch to do...gotta drop the oil pan and also check the rod bearings, make sure I didn't spin any.
