She's got a point, though, doesn't she? Most women would NEVER say that they would only marry for money, but I know of LOTS of women who wouldn't say yes to a marriage proposal unless the engagement ring had certain characteristics (size, type of band, etc.). She's right that each person brings certain things into a relationship. The fact of the matter is that she's a trophy wife and she's happy with that. At least she's being honest about it—how is that being a bitch? She's not pretending it's anything other than what it is. The vast majority of marriages in the United States are for economical purposes of some kind or another (they get tax breaks, she can get on his health insurance, stuff like that). This is no different, when you really think about it.
