My Georgia Bulldogs had a great recruiting class, so I'm happy. With all the guys going in the first round of the NFL draft the past couple years, they have had a hard time replacing them plus AJ Green is going pro this year and he will most likely be a top 5 pick in the NFL draft again. The Bulldogs aren't deep enough on the depth chart with top notch quality players like some of the other college football teams like Ohio State, etc. to be constantly losing top notch talent to the NFL. I like our QB Aaron Murray, he had a good season last year as a freshman and will probably be the 1st team all SEC QB after the season this year. Georgia's got lots of weaknesses on defense they are trying to find answers for since they switched the scheme and got a new def. coordinator last year. Growing pains! The offensive line isn't a very good run blocking line, so we can't impose our will running the football on teams. That needs to get fixed soon, because you have to run the football to win in the SEC and to win in general in college football. At least 1 or 2 wide receivers will need to step up and "be the man" to replace the loss of AJ Green.
Last season was such a disappointment after having such great previous years under Mark Richt where he was averaging 10+ wins a season for the past 7 years or so and always finishing in the top 20 every year and a lot of top 10 finishes. I know everyone loves their college football and it's hard to endure one of those bad seasons that everyone is entitled to have every once in a while.
I think we have a good chance of going 9-3 this season. That's a pretty good record considering you have to play an SEC schedule just about each and every week and the National Champion usually always comes from the SEC since they started the BCS.
