I just want to create a story regardless if is real or fake. It’s sort of like a spam or not even sure what it is. This has nothing to do with here. It’s about my job. Couple of reasons, I’ve been denied for a salary increase. Everybody got few percentage of salary increase except for me and the other Russian guy who work with us. Mike and I have been denied for a salary increase. The reason I’ve been denied for a salary increase is because of Mr. B. Mr. B has discovered that couple of new employee workers has been doing a great job and they can get it done faster than me. The only manager I really like is Leroy Brown. Leroy Brown is one of the good managers that I can trust. He is one of the lead managers with us over Mr. B. Mr. B on the other hand is my assistant manager who can assist Leroy Brown incase Leroy is out or in another location covering for someone.

Here what happen a while ago? Our new worker started last year in our company. He is one of the guys of Leroy Brown that lives in his neighborhood. Mr. B discovered that Hector V is a great worker and get it done faster. Since Leroy has been out many times due his family emergencies and vacation, Mr. B had praised Hector V of the great job he done in our company. Since Mr. B had been getting on my case of my work performance, he said that I am taking too long. He doesn’t give me a chance to do my own job. He likes to govern the job operation and work overtime. Leroy on the other hand doesn’t do that. He has other things to do on his own. He put me in charge in the loading dock and couple of employees to guard the office too. You see Mr. B likes to govern things on his own way and work overtime. After he discovered that Hector V doing a great job, he took away my key to lock the loading dock. I can’t even close messenger ticket under my login or Leroy or somebody else login. I can only close messenger ticket under Mr. B login. Mr. B had written a report over Hector performance to the accounting personnel department so he can get a raise. This company Cannon when I started with them 3 years ago, they took 50% off my salary I was making before the other company starting laying off people. Then the following year, they took 10% off when Citi Bank took away percentage with our company. By Cannon company view Hector performance over me, they decided to give Hector 10% increase salary and take away another 10% off my salary and give it to Hector. Nathan who works in the mailroom told Mr. B and the personnel department not to take another 10% off my salary and other 10% off their salary because I am great worker and I’ve been here longer enough in their company. So Cannon negotiate it not to take my 10% off. So they gave Hector 10% increase salary of the great job he did and gave 10% for the guy who picks up the boxes from central receiving. Last week, they start giving raises for everybody except for me and Mike. Hector got another 10% increase they owe for him. Devine got another 7% and the remaining workers got 3% increase except for me and Mike. Mike on the other hand had worked with Cannon few years ago in another location. Since they brought him downtown to work with us, they took 20% off his salary and 10% off the following year when they did it to us. This year, he didn’t get anything. Mike and I are the exceptional of not getting a raise.

As of today, I got suspended by Mr. B because of a large volume of boxes of Staples. He wanted me to take my boxes in all in one shot. But car did not have enough room to put the remaining boxes I got. When I came back on my second trip, he thought I was wasting time. So I told and yell Mr. B. let me take care my job and get it done. After I finished, he send me home. So I talk with Tarzan one of the assisting postmaster and he told me that I shouldn’t yell at him cuz he is our assisting manager. He told me to take the day off and see him Monday for a meeting with him.


Tarzan: The reason you’ve been denied for a salary increase is that your great performance is not great. We discovered that Hector, Vincent, and this new guy do a better job. That’s why Mr. B had awarded them because they like what they see. Leroy is in 399 covering for Harold who is gone on disability. He won’t be back by the end of next month. This is why Mr. B wrote a report to the personnel department base on Hector, Vincent, and Hulu work performance. Hulu can’t get a raise because he started 3 weeks ago. In other for him to get a raise, he had to work with us for 6 month in order for him to qualify for his salary increase. I already told you and everybody that Cannon is not worth it. Cannon does not give raises to anybody. Cannon can only give raises if one employee does a better job. I understand that you’re a good worker and you deserve a raise. I am going to talk with personnel to see if they can give you something. I know they owe you and Mike a salary increase. I am going to work on. But please, don’t fight with Mr. B. Just follow his instruction.
