Ohio State Buckeyes coach Jim Tressel targeted in NCAA's notice of allegations - ESPN

Big black eye for Ohio State football today. It sounds really bad about what the coach had been lying about during this scandal. The coach will probably end up getting fired. I don't think Ohio State football will get the death penalty, but I think the penalties will be severe though.

I saw this coming months ago. I couldn't believe Ohio State let Pryor and others play in the bowl game knowing they had committed all these violations. I know my Georgia Bulldogs had an issue with stud wide receiver A.J. Green (probably top 5 pick in the upcoming NFL draft), when he sold his jersey from a bowl game then he was suspended for the first 4 or 5 games to start the next season.

I'm a little bit surprised that Tressel got involved in this kind of mess, because I thought he was a pretty good football coach and well respected in the business. I guess the temptation is out their for coaches all the time, and this time he gave in to temptation.

People from Ohio are messed up.

It's about time. they've been doing underhanded shit for years and been getting punished for the bare minimum over and over again. hopefully they will make it stick this time and put up some real punishments.

no he's just an underhanded person that made it big in the business. look at people like mack brown for good coaches. he's the example of someone I would want my kid going playing for. he doesn't buy players and he gets the job done. and he doesn't make bullshit excuses when he doesn't
