Ok! So ive managed to FINALLY get my PS3 out of the pawn shop! (YAY!!!) and you would THINK that it would be Awesome right, because i planned on going on my Call of Duty: Black Ops game Online an litterally playing the hell out of it. BUT that wasnt the Case because when i go to Sign in it says something like Playstation Network under Maintenance! WHAT THE HELLLLLLLLLLLLL! OMG Does anyone know WHEN the Playstation Network will be Fixed?! I wanna be able to go back Online with Call of Duty again!

Jarian, you have to listen to the news every once in awhile, this has been a big story. Sony's Playstation Online network was hacked and somebody got all your info (playstation log-in ID, password, billing info including credit card number and expiration date if you use one on playstation and more.

I have both systems (Playstation 3 and Xbox 360) and I like them both especially being able to play exclusive titles that belong to each system that you normally wouldn't be able to do if you owned just one of the 2 systems.

I love the fact the Playstation 3 has a blu-ray player that comes with it so I never had to buy a blu-ray player to watch my blu-ray movies.

I play my Playstation 3 more than I do the Xbox 360 mostly because I have more friends that happen to have a Playstation 3 than Xbox 360, but a lot of my friends have been doing like me and just buying the other system where you can play games online with either system. I think there are a lot of benefits to owning both systems rather than owning one and then hating on the other.

It's not like Sony isn't the one company that's been hacked in the past few years. I know it sucks that it happened, but I hope Sony does what it needs to do to fix the problem and help the users that use their network.

I know I've been frustrated as anyone else not being able to play my new Mortal Kombat game online on PS 3 and also just got the Call of Duty Black Ops game too, but I would rather the network be down for another week if needed to make sure they have everything fixed to prevent something like this from happening again in the future.

Yeah my friend just told me this Yesterday! I cant believe that the Playstation Network could be hacked, geeeeeeez is Anything Safe anymore! Either way i hope they can get it Fixed an Soon. =)

Yeah i guess your right, im actually gonna be losing my Xbox 360 Slim (dont wanna get into all that but it Sucks) sooooooo im gonna have to Buy another one maybe next month or something, I guess i just hate Waiting hahaha OMG, but i know that Playstation is Working Hard on things so its all good. =)

Gonna have to disagree with you on that one my friend, lets look at Nintendo for instance...

1985 the NES was released and for its time was leaps and bounds above the competition

1991 The SNES was released and again leaps and bounds above its competitors, and is still heralded by many as the "Greatest Console Ever Made"

1996 The Nintendo 64 was released and has pretty ipressive sales, but due to its lack of 3rd party support and the refusal to move away from cartridge based media, it was 2nd behind Sony's Playstaton for that generation

2002 The Nintendo Gamecube is released, while some consider it to be a great system that had some great exclusives and 1st party games, its 3rd party support would again kill them. Plus the system lacked a DVD player which is what helped the Playstation 2 to lead that generation of systems

2006 The Nintendo Wii is released and it has sold more to date then the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3, initially these systems were almost impossible to come by as they were the least expensive and ushered in a new market of "non-gamers", with its motion control interface. However, the system was vastly underpowered in comparison to its competitors, again it lacked a DVD player and 3rd party support was weak and really limited to what seemed to be gimmick games. Not to mention the online play functionality just wasn't as easy out of the box.

So after 5 home consoles, nintendo has really only "gotten better" for one generation... pretty interesting if you ask me...

Sooooooooooooo does this mean that your gonna Stop Buying videogame systems from Nintendo? =)

Well apparently I have been gone for awhile but I have school to blame for that haha but its all good and got sick last week so that was freakin brutal and came at a very bad time since I had finals coming up :/ Anywayz, yea the big news in the sony industry is the network service and that some idiots just came seem to let things go when it comes to hacking and breaking in the security....now J28 if u wanna keep updated about the whole PSN service coming back online make sure to visit their website us.playstation.com daily or i'll come in here and let everyone here that the service is back However, I can understand that ppl can do whatever they want to hacking cause I know they paid hundreds of dollars but when it comes hacking into other ppls account or social security then that is just crossing the line and those are the ppl that have no lifes and got nothing better to do.....now because they pissed off and broke the PSN securities, they just hurt over millions of ppl that owns a PS3 that we can't be online or play certain games that are acquired due to the firmware update or installation. Well starting yesterday it has been 3 weeks without the PSN service and basically I think it is going to take even...a bit longer til it comes back and one of the reports from another blogging site heard that it would not fully be available until the end of this month..now I don't think it is true but it wouldn't surprise it takes that long to do so cause they did said everything will be ready within a week and its already been a week and they are informing us that they can't installed back until this newly security is tested and ready to go! Now a gamer like me and a normal guy I can be patient enough and wait a lil bit more longer to play online but if this drags more then 4 weeks maybe 5 then they are definitely have to change the whole free things they are going to give us but extended and more because it is going to anger more fans and patient won't be acceptable anymore including myself so I just hope they get on the ball and work faster to bringing it back. I trust them that they are working hard and making sure something else likes this won't ever happened again. So yea just keep being patient and something will come up and like I said i'll come on here and let everyone know that it is back online or just visit their website...

Yeah its been takin awhile for Sure! Please let us know when the PS3 Network comes back up! I hope they DO offer alot of Free Stuff! =)
