On September 11, 2001; I came early at work at 6:00AM (Eastern Time). Then I went to pick up the incoming mail from the van. I was in 1211 6 Avenues of the Americas where I work in midtown Manhattan. When I came back at the mailroom at 35th floor, Trent turn on the radio to hear the news and he said that 2 planes crashes at the World Trade Center. Another airplane crashed in the pentagon in Washington, D.C. This is where Jamie from Cleveland, Ohio visits her boyfriend in Washington, D.C... Trent was hugging a girl that was crying for the 911 crash in Trent shoulders. So Alison, the girls from the mailroom, and I went to 39 floor to see the World Trade Center crashed.
At that time, I saw the second twin tower collapsing down to dust.
Alison: Oh my god, oh my god… (Watching the tower collapsing into dust.)
Everybody in the building started to weep for the misery.
Eddie O’Brien: Attention Attention! This is the command station. There has been a crash in The World Trade Center. Everybody must evacuate the building!
The command station had decided to put security guard on this to check our ID for those who want to come in the building. I was at the 35th floor next to Karen watching the news on the internet explorer. As I step out of the building, I saw all the way downtown Manhattan, another towers came down into dust. So we had to go home early that day. There was no train going to my house. So I had to walk couple of blocks to get to the station. They started to run the train late and crowded with people. The buses were the same too. I came home and my grandmother told me that my uncle from Colombia was worried if I was okay. As I came home, we watched the news with my family.
