Well, to be fair, Spinnr is going through what I'm sure is a bad time. Still, there's two things to be aware of:

1) The fact that Spinnr may be going through a worse time (may not be, but obviously he thinks he is) doesn't in any way make Gina's day less bad. Especially not to her. It's all a matter of perspective.

2) It's never good form to belittle somebody else's problem. Even if you say "Look, honestly, no offense intended." It's just uncouth.

Gina, I'm sorry you had a rough day. I hope tomorrow's better.

Ohh you guys.

Thank you all so so much. You have no idea how much better I feel this morning after reading all your replies.

I think the worst thing about yesterday was learning that I can't play Sims 3 on my laptop.

I'M JOKING. Yesterday was just an accumulation of lots of shitty weeks really. Months even. I just had a few different bad news's (surely not a proper word?!) and just felt, well, helpless and horrible. I feel better today. I've talked it over with myself and I think I will be ok.

Things can just be very sad and difficult.

if you wanted to know my girlfriend who's 25 has breast cancer and has been doing chemo since July 1. yesterday her hair started falling out and I was pretty stressed so I let out some of my emotions when I read this thread and I am truly sorry

I imagined you must have been going through something like that from your earlier post. What you're both going through is awful, and terrible, and heartbreaking. I can totally understand why you vented the way you did. Other people's problems must seem pretty insignificant to what you're dealing with.

I'm truly sorry to hear that. I hope the chemo works and she is much better as soon as can be.
