So, some things have changed in the past few days. I know there will be rumors, there will be stories, there will undoubtedly be bullshit, so I felt the need to make a small simple post detailing what is happening, and why. Better to go to the source, ya know? I created Babe Chat, I have run the server since day one so I’d consider myself a good source.
So here’s some background…
Babe Chat started as a webcam network in June 2009. Bryci and I did this after we learned the webcam network we were on was going to be changing the way they did things. They wanted to introduce a pay system where people could pay money to the models etc. They never checked with us on this before going ahead with development of the software, plans on pushing it live etc. They just figured all the sites with them would go along with their plans I guess.
We had the mindset that if you sign up for a website, the cams should be for free and it should be an upsell option for different things. Sure there are webcam networks where girls offer private shows etc, but that isn’t what we were a part of before and since they were modifying their network, they were sort of forcing us to be part of the new system. We wanted simple, webcams shared between sites. No extra money needed.
We offered to buy the old cam network’s backend software if it was available to buy but they didn’t want to sell it. Not sure if they felt we’d be competition or not? The web is a huge place, plenty of room I’d think but whatever.
So Bryci and I created Babe Chat and for a week, we were the only site on it. Then Mumblez came inside a few days and joined us with his network, followed soon after by Doug and his network. The three of us formed the three amigos, we had to agree on things or they didn’t happen. Other sites then started to join us and Babe Chat started to grow. We had two very basic rules for BC, no drugs on cam and no hardcore. We wanted a classier network, and we had non nude and nude girls on the network so it made sense on some level. We weren’t trying to nuke the old cam network we were apart of but that is sort of what happened, all the sites left to be with us because we were keeping it simple.
Present day…
So earlier in the week a website within the Babe Chat network had hardcore on webcam. This is a violation of BC and if it had been any other site, they would have been removed from Babe Chat immediately. Problem was, it was one of the other amigo’s sites. He didn’t check with us before doing this, he just did it and as such, he will be leaving Babe Chat shortly to create a new cam network that he runs/owns himself. The other amigo will most likely be going as well being that they are partners on a few sites.
I’m not being a hard ass btw, The same site tried to do a bj show 6-8 months ago within Babe Chat and I nuked that so it never happened. I’m not a buzz kill, I have no issues with hardcore. I’m a guy, come on. Seriously.
I do however think having hardcore in a network along side models that aren’t porn stars, is tough for sure. What if you’re a model and your show is right after a sex show? Is that fair to you as the model? The crowd is now all restless and worked up, now you get to deal with it. Great. No, that isn’t fair and one of the things I am well known for, also well hated for, is sticking up for the ladies. I don’t go out of my way to protect just any model out there, but I sure as hell do for the Bella ladies. This is why there was a no hardcore rule.
So what happens to Babe Chat? Nothing. We’re still Babe Chat. We’re not going anywhere.
We will still be running and we’re not loosing all the girls. Stop worrying. Yes, there will be several ladies leaving because they are part of the other networks, so if you want access to their cam shows you’d need to join that other network. Same can be side though if you are currently a member of any of Doug or Mumblez sites, if you want access to any of the Bella ladies (Bryci, Katie Banks, Talia Shepard, Monroe Lee) you’d need to be a member of one of these girl’s sites or better yet, grab a BellaPass and be a member of all of their sites.
Yes Babe Chat will continue to grow, we will bring on new girls as we see that they fit with what we’re doing.
When will this be happening? I am guessing in the next week or two? No idea what the other network will be called. I do know it will have hardcore on it, which is not what we’re about here so this is for the best.
Before some of you etards start thinking Doug, Mumz and myself are fighting now or something. We’re not. This is business. We’re still friends and we understand this is the best move. I am not sour in the least, I honestly wish them the best of luck with their new venture. We’ll all still work together and promote each other etc where we can. We’re all here for the same reason.
I created this post because you know the internet, some people talk shit behind others backs and make up stories. I wanted there to be no question what happened. It’s really no big deal, just something that needed to happen. Too many cooks in the kitchen is never a good thing.

This was quoted from Jamesdot.com. Just letting you all know what was going on and what will be happening in the future and that if you are a member of mine or dougs sites, you will soon no longer have access to the Bella Girls camshows, unless you are already a member.

Hopefully the changes will work out for the best for everyone.

Well, there will be more than just the Bella Girls still on Babe Chat, not everyone is leaving. (not to mention others coming to the network as well)

This change is unfortunate for sure but it's most likely for the best, long term for all parties.

Change always goes against human nature right off the bat, I didn't like it at first that nikkis forum and ydg and James became one (why?) because it's change.... Your comfortable with it. If you guys (the three amigos) are good with this, then it should all turn out fine. I will still be apart of all three of ya.....Good luck to all of you.

I would just like to thank Mumblez, Doug and James for making Babechat what it is today.
It's a wonderful place to enjoy the ladies and not have to put up with crap from members like other cam sites do.
I'm sorry things didn't work out.
I do agree with James, if I were a NN model I would not want to follow a full on sex show.
Maybe something could be worked out on the new Network where the HC chats would be
latenight (after 8PM) or on the weekends.
All in All it's been a great time for everyone and I wish the Three Amigos all the best.

There are a lot of people out there with different preferences and there are a lot of sites offering different content. There's a place for everybody, isn't the internetz great!

And there are differences, sure, among the sites run by Mumz, James and Doug but all run quality sites and I have favorites aligned with all three. So just tell me where to go, I'll be there.

I want to say my idea about different times slots for some models
was just a quick idea and I understand that with people living in
many different time zones and Models schedules it's very hard to
have a set time.

Also most likely Phadpanda's models Misty Gates, Rachel Sexton, Brooke Marks, Malloy Martin, Carlotta Champagne, and Bailey Knox.


That would leave some models unaffiliated with those groups to go either way that I'd have no guess about. And leave more space for new models to come into either network too. Might wanna ask your favorite models or their webmasters what they are doing & see if they even know yet.

Bree Roxx, Linda Roxx and the other Roxx girls are actually staying with Babe Chat, I was messaged tonight (I didn't ask because I am not really into canvasing others to stay or go, I thought that was somewhat inappropriate to do) by their webbie and program owner they are staying with Babe Chat, as is Bella Bellini (again, she messaged me telling me this). I was messaged with them saying this, again, I did not ask them. I guess what I am saying is, one never knows until all is said and done. Bottom line, both networks will be great in their future.

I know exactly what you mean. I'll only be able to see one of the 2 networks now unless I get another membership. I'm still happy either way, even if you can only see one network it's still a lot of bonus content that you should be thankful for that you don't get from a lot of websites these day where you only get to see webcam shows from the 1 girl doing the websites. Doug, Mumz, and James do a great job providing us bonus access/exposure to all the girl's websites in babechat before these changes. I want to thank them for that!

Don't think your site memberships were included in Doug & Mumz's fantasy sports contests they like to compete in, probably cause it wasn't for hockey. But Spinnr is wishing they were.

Certainly are some downsides too with not being able to see all the models in one place, but least we know a little in advance. Start saving now or watch for contests to win free memberships if finances are an issue. Could always switch back and forth each month to a site from the opposite network as the prior month.

Even if you have memberships to both, you might see some of your favorite models on at the same time slot on opposite networks and have to pick one to watch, unless you have a lot of monitor space and a fast connection. And have to follow two cam network schedules instead of just the one now unfortunately, I know I'll fail at that even if they are both still displayed here on this forum. I still had Camclique access for a while after that split, but missed most of the shows cause they weren't scheduled soon enough or there was a Babechat show at the same time.
