Just playing around with Perspectives and shadows, Would love to get some feedback on it. Hope you like.

Maybe it's just me, and don't get upset, this is just an opinion I am stating. it does not reflect anyone else's opinion.
in any case if it offends you just don't read it, and surely don't reply if you don't deem it worthwhile

oh yeah the soap suds on the car look good but the ones on bryci. especially her upper half make her seem a little one dimensional.
the suds look giant and she looks tiny compared to em
I guess it does effectively look like say a sticker on a car being washed

The shadowing looks a bit strange. On the pic of the car the light seems to be coming from above the car but the cutout have the light coming from the back/left.

That is a hot wallpaper.

Nice Job! But I do agree with Patrick. There are two sources of light for the car, one being from above and you dont have her body casting that shadow. The other source of light would be from either frame right (for the door) so the shadow she is casting on the car would be the other direction...or it was a low slash from the front left (keeping the shadow on the top of the fender) of which you would be correct. either way its a nice job.

And ONLY since you are a self proclaimed wizard, will I say that your extraction is not the best. It has a halo around it, probably from feathering the cut line or using an automatic tool. Her hair is TOO perfect as well. No flyaways or anything... It's a great idea and a better cutout than many...

lol prob more info than he wanted, but still better than I can do in photochop. Now if u really want it lighted and shot in person Im your guy.

I wanted a bit of an HDR affect. And to answer your hair question, If you looked at the source image, you will notice that her hair does not have flyaways or anything. To add them would be stupid. Its crisp for a reason. (just wondering did you LOOK at the source?)

Like I said, it's a great idea and great cutout. Could I have done better? Probably not. If posted by anyone else on here, the wall would have received nothing but praise... but when you come in and claim to be the "wizard". . . people are going to gather and throw stones... For some, it's insecurity... for others, it's just to prove that they are a great critic. And for a few, it's just to be an ass...

Keep the walls comin'! We need more contributions in here. I'm fallin' WAY behind on mine...

As I said I was just giving what I thought was helpful feedback. I wasn't trying to piss anyone off. I like the wall. it's great. if you prefer to not get my feedback I can go back to not commenting on anyone's walls. I'm not throwing stones, I was just stating that that one part drew my attention to it.
Like I said I doubt I could have come close to the result you got. let me know if you prefer not to get advice. I know I do if it's honest feedback designed to help me out

Most people in here do try to help and give constructive criticism... And I do know Spinnr's advice was genuine. Nothing I said was aimed at you, Spinnr, and I am sorry if you felt that way. I was just making a general observation. I just thought it was funny that people were critiquing this wall without GW asking, and after we had created a separate thread for just such a thing.

My apologies to everyone for ASSuming anything.

yeah that last one wasn't because of anything you said zoddy. my conscience was just messing with me cause I do like the guys wall. and I thought he could improve that one part, but it doesn't really need improvement
